In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This position requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet high standards. The role includes coordinating efforts to maintain code quality, scalability, and system performance, all while aligning technical solutions with overarching business goals. Collaboration and leadership are central to driving successful project outcomes and fostering innovation within the team environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure consistency and quality.
- Mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to align technical efforts with business requirements.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and best practices.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable custom software solutions.
- Experience in leading software development teams and managing project delivery.
- Familiarity with performance optimization and code quality assurance techniques.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
