As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. You engage in collaborative environments that emphasize agile methodologies and modern development frameworks. Your work focuses on delivering scalable and efficient solutions that meet unique business requirements, ensuring that the software aligns with organizational goals and user expectations. Throughout the day, you balance innovation with practical implementation, contributing to the continuous enhancement of software products and services.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Maintain and improve existing software applications to enhance performance and reliability.
- Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications to support knowledge sharing.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP SCM APO Advanced Planning & Optimization.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management concepts and their application within software solutions.
- Experience with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect SAP SCM APO with other enterprise systems.
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in SAP SCM APO Advanced Planning & Optimization.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
