As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components or applications. The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. The engineer actively participates in iterative development cycles, applying modern methodologies to meet evolving business requirements and improve overall system performance. Collaboration and continuous improvement are key aspects of the daily workflow, ensuring that solutions align with organizational goals and user needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to support their professional growth.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable development plans.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow, ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ServiceNow IT Service Management, ServiceNow ITOM ServiceMapping.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ServiceNow IT Service Management, ServiceNow ITOM ServiceMapping.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and customization capabilities.
- Experience in developing and deploying scalable workflows and integrations within ServiceNow.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools relevant to ServiceNow development.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
