Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving project needs, ensuring that software solutions align with organizational goals. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to understand requirements, refining application features, and overseeing the integration of new functionalities to enhance overall system performance and user experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices that improve team efficiency and product quality.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scrum.
- Good To Have Skills: Life Sciences Industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and their practical application in software development projects.
- Ability to facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives effectively.
- Experience in managing backlogs, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring clear communication between product owners and development teams.
- Skilled in identifying and resolving impediments that may affect team productivity and project timelines.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Scrum.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
