Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ServiceNow ITOM solutions such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, optimize, and maintain ServiceNow ITOM modules, ensuring they align with the organization’s IT strategy and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and implement ServiceNow ITOM modules like Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, and Cloud Management.

  • Define and execute strategies for implementing and maintaining a robust Configuration Management Database (CMDB) following best practices.

  • Develop workflows and automation using ServiceNow Flow Designer and ServiceNow Orchestration capabilities.

  • Develop scripts and integrations using JavaScript and ServiceNow IntegrationHub to streamline IT operations.

  • Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with third-party tools and IT systems for seamless data exchange and enhanced operational efficiency.

  • Configure ServiceNow Discovery to identify, classify, and populate configuration items (CIs) appropriately.

  • Build and maintain service maps to ensure visibility into application dependencies and infrastructure components.

  • Configure ServiceNow Event Management to monitor IT infrastructure proactively and define automation strategies to handle alerts and incidents.

  • Establish thresholds and event rules to reduce event noise and accelerate response times.

  • Evaluate the performance of ServiceNow ITOM implementations and optimize configurations for scalability and efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot ServiceNow ITOM issues and work with stakeholders to resolve configurations and technical challenges promptly.

  • Work closely with ITSM, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to align ITOM initiatives with broader business objectives.

  • Participate in workshops to gather functional requirements for ServiceNow ITOM implementations and recommend solutions.

  • Prepare technical documentation for deployed ITOM processes and ensure appropriate knowledge transfer to relevant teams.

  • Guide teams on leveraging ITOM modules to enhance IT operations and service delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • In-depth experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, and Cloud Management.

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer.

  • Advanced knowledge of CMDB design, implementation, and maintenance.

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow MID Servers and integrations with third-party tools.

  • Sound understanding of ITIL processes and best practices for IT operations.

Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITOM (preferred).

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or similar certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk, SolarWinds) and integration with ServiceNow ITOM.

  • Experience in API integrations using RESTful services.

Must be willing to work onsite 5 days per week
