The Role:
The Comm Manufacturing Project Manager will lead end-to-end manufacturing program management for custom cable and thermal components within Network Backbone programs. This role ensures New Product Introduction (NPI) readiness across all manufacturing build phases, from early development through ramp-to-production. The position requires strong cross-functional leadership, deep hardware manufacturing expertise, and the ability to manage complex supplier and commodity ecosystems in a high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end manufacturing program management for custom cable and thermal NPI components across all build phases.
Collaborate with design engineering, NPI PMs, manufacturing engineering, and external manufacturing partners to resolve issues impacting readiness and delivery.
Develop and maintain manufacturing schedules, milestones, and risk mitigation plans for subcomponents.
Identify gaps or delays in the NPI process and implement solutions to improve execution efficiency.
Support ramp-to-production transitions by ensuring supplier capability, tooling readiness, material availability, and quality assurance.
Drive alignment across commodity teams, NPI PMs, and manufacturing engineering to ensure timely execution.
Provide clear communication and regular progress updates to cross-functional stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in hardware project management, manufacturing engineering, NPI, material planning, network engineering, data center programs, supply readiness, and high-tech manufacturing.
Experience working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and external manufacturing partners.
Fluency in English (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
PMP or equivalent Project Management certification.
Experience supporting OEM programs and managing complex supplier ecosystems.
Experience working with commodity teams and cross-functional sourcing organizations.
Familiarity with Meta hardware processes or similar large-scale hardware development frameworks.
