What would you do? As an R2R Operations Specialist within the GAAP team, you will play a critical role in managing and executing accounting operations aligned with US GAAP standards. This role demands strong analytical capabilities, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of financial reporting processes. Key Responsibilities • Analyze and solve moderately complex accounting and operational issues. • Develop new solutions by leveraging and adapting existing methods and procedures. • Align work with strategic goals set by senior management. • Interact primarily with direct supervisors, with occasional engagement with clients and internal leadership. • Apply judgment in determining methods and procedures for new assignments. • Make decisions that impact team performance and deliverables. • Lead small teams or manage individual workstreams within client engagements or internal ops Preferred Skills & Qualifications • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards. • Experience in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting. • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP.) • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvements. • Experience in working with global teams and managing time-zone aligned deliverables. Preferred Qualification: B. Com, MBA (Finance), and Chartered Accountant (CA) • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Collaborate across teams to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls. • Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and insights. • Be flexible to work in rotational shifts as required by business needs.
