Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to align with specific business processes and application needs. You will engage in understanding the requirements, translating them into functional software solutions, and ensuring that the applications support the operational goals effectively. Collaboration with various stakeholders to refine application features and continuous improvement of the software environment are integral parts of your daily activities, fostering seamless business operations through customized technology solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues to maintain optimal system performance.
- Document application configurations and customizations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on project tasks.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Billing.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP for Utilities Billing modules to meet business needs.
- Strong understanding of business process integration within utility billing systems.
- Ability to analyze and translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and application deployment processes.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail in application design and configuration.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Billing.
- This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
