As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific project requirements or stages within the product lifecycle. The role includes collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software components. You will engage in problem-solving activities, adapting to evolving project needs, and applying a broad understanding of technologies and methodologies to support clients and project goals effectively. This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to software solutions that drive innovation and operational excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of software development with project objectives.
- Assist in documenting software design and development processes to maintain clarity and knowledge sharing.
- Support junior team members by sharing insights and providing guidance on technical challenges.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve software performance and reliability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Edge Computing.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language), Machine Learning (ML).
- Strong understanding of distributed computing principles and real-time data processing.
- Experience with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize software systems for performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and hardware integration related to edge devices.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Edge Computing.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
