Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific requirements, either managing the entire process or focusing on particular stages within the product lifecycle. This role requires applying a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to effectively support clients, projects, or organizational entities. The position demands continuous collaboration with different stakeholders to ensure that software solutions align with project goals and client expectations, while also adapting to evolving needs and challenges throughout the development cycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding their professional development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and timely delivery.
- Support the integration of new technologies and tools to optimize software development workflows.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Siemens Teamcenter.
- Strong experience in software configuration and customization within product lifecycle management environments.
- Ability to analyze complex system requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to software systems.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
