Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs. You will engage in designing tailored applications that align with organizational processes and requirements. Your role includes analyzing existing workflows, proposing enhancements, and ensuring that the solutions developed effectively support business objectives. Throughout the day, you will participate in discussions to refine application features and contribute to the overall project planning and execution, ensuring seamless integration with current systems and processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to application functionality.
- Document application designs and process flows to support development and future maintenance.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday HCM Security.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday Core Integrations.
- Strong understanding of security configurations and role-based access controls within Workday environments.
- Ability to analyze and interpret business processes to design secure and efficient application solutions.
- Experience in managing user access, permissions, and compliance within enterprise software systems.
- Familiarity with integration points and data flows between Workday modules and external systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Workday HCM Security.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
