As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the system. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with stakeholders to understand needs and adapt applications accordingly is a key part of daily activities, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement of the software landscape.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement application enhancements.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal system functionality.
- Document configuration changes and maintain detailed records of system modifications.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on application best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in BlueYonder Enterprise Supply Planning.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and how they integrate with enterprise planning solutions.
- Experience in configuring and customizing packaged or software as a service applications using standard tools and APIs.
- Ability to work with low-code platforms to develop and adapt application features efficiently.
- Familiarity with release management processes and ensuring system stability during updates.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and optimize application performance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in BlueYonder Enterprise Supply Planning.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
