We are seeking a talented Java + Azure Developer with strong expertise in building reactive, microservices-based, event-driven applications using Java and Spring Boot/Micronaut frameworks. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with Java 17, reactive programming paradigms (WebFlux, Reactor), and Kafka for event streaming, while leveraging a broad range of Azure PaaS services to deliver scalable and resilient cloud-native solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop and deploy Java 17-based microservices using Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, Reactor, and Micronaut.
Build reactive, event-driven solutions integrating with Kafka and Azure messaging platforms (Event Hubs, Service Bus, Event Grid).
Design and implement workflows and serverless applications using Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps.
Develop APIs and integrate them securely with Azure API Management (APIM).
Deploy and manage services on Azure App Service, Azure Spring Apps, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Integrate with Azure PaaS data services including PostgreSQL and Cosmos DB.
Implement caching and performance optimization using Azure Redis Cache.
Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to translate design patterns into working cloud-native implementations.
Apply DevOps practices with CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments on Azure.
Ensure application reliability, scalability, and observability by leveraging Azure monitoring services.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Programming & Frameworks
Proficiency in Java 17.
Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Micronaut.
Expertise in reactive programming using Spring WebFlux and Project Reactor.
Architecture
Experience in developing microservices-based applications.
Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and real-time processing.
Event Streaming & Messaging
Practical experience with Kafka for event streaming and messaging.
Hands-on with Azure Event Hubs, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
Azure Cloud & PaaS Services
Strong experience with:
App Hosting & Containers: Azure App Service, Azure Spring Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Serverless & Workflows: Azure Functions, Logic Apps
API Management: Azure API Management (APIM)
Data Services: Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB
Caching: Azure Redis Cache
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with cloud-native security best practices and API design standards.
Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Associate).
Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork in agile environments.
Ability to learn and adopt new Azure services and frameworks quickly.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Relevant Azure certifications preferred.
