Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires engaging with various project components to ensure that software solutions align with organizational goals. The workday often includes collaborating with different teams to understand requirements, developing customized software components, and refining applications to enhance overall functionality and performance. Attention to detail and a focus on delivering reliable, scalable solutions are central to daily activities in this position.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for software development.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues to maintain optimal system performance.
- Document design specifications and development processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle SOA OSB.
- Experience with service-oriented architecture principles and integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of middleware technologies and enterprise application integration.
- Ability to design and implement scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Familiarity with debugging and performance tuning of integration components.
- Knowledge of XML, XSLT, and web services standards.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle SOA OSB.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
