Custom Software Engineer
Project Role Description : Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
Must have skills : SAP ABAP Development for HANA

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education
Key responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP programs and enhancements in the sustaining and depot areas.
Collaborate with functional Business System Experts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Work with HCL iMRO development team to support maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes.
Develop and maintain SAP Fiori applications in the Sustain area, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.
Debug and resolve system issues, providing technical support to ensure smooth operations.
Optimize existing ABAP code and perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and performance standards.
Support system upgrades, patches, and other technical initiatives as required.
Document technical designs, processes, and solutions in compliance with RTX standards.
Required qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
Proven expertise in HCL iMRO, with a solid understanding of maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes.
Experience with SAP Fiori development, including UI5 and OData services.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working in a Best Cost Location (BCL) environment.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
3+ years of related experience, preferably in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
Knowledge of SAP modules relevant to the sustaining/depot area (e.g., PM, MM, SD, QM).
