As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and configuring software solutions tailored to meet specific project requirements. The role includes managing various stages of the product lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. You will collaborate with different teams to support clients and projects by applying a comprehensive understanding of technologies, methodologies, and tools. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous engagement with evolving software development processes to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of software development with project goals.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders to understand and address their needs.
- Continuously update knowledge on emerging technologies and best practices to enhance project delivery.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to support their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Extend.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday Core Integrations.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and configuration management.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable software components within the Workday ecosystem.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect various enterprise systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Workday Extend.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
