Project Role Description : Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.

Summary:
As a Technology Support Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will resolve incidents and problems across various business system components, ensuring operational stability. Your typical day will involve collaborating with different teams, implementing Requests for Change, and updating knowledge base articles to enhance troubleshooting effectiveness. You will also work closely with vendors and service management teams to analyze and resolve issues, contributing to a seamless operational flow and improved service delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Professional & Technical Skills:
-NetApp AFF/FAS Operations: Manage clustered ONTAP,
-SnapMirror/SnapVault, NAS/SAN services, and performance tuning.
-Veeam Backup & Replication: Architect and operate large scale backup environments, including SOBR, immutability, and DR testing.
-Azure Infrastructure & CVO:
-Design and manage Azure IaaS components (VMs, networking, storage accounts) for hybrid deployments.
-Deploy and administer NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO) for cloud storage, replication, and disaster recovery.
-Optimize connectivity, cost, and security for Azure based workloads integrated with Veeam and NetApp.
-Automation: Use PowerShell/Python/Ansible for provisioning and policy enforcement.
-Compliance & DR: Maintain RPO/RTO targets, immutable backups, and audit ready documentation.
Must Have Skills
-NetApp ONTAP: Advanced administration, SnapMirror/SnapVault, Active IQ Unified Manager.
-Veeam Backup & Replication: Architecture, SureBackup, Instant Recovery, hardened repositories.
-Azure Infrastructure: Strong understanding of Azure networking, storage, and compute services.
-NetApp CVO: Hands on experience deploying and managing Cloud Volumes ONTAP in Azure.
-Automation: PowerShell/Python scripting for operational efficiency.
Preferred
-Integration of Veeam with Azure Blob/Archive tiers.
-Certifications: NetApp NCDA/NCIE, VMCE, Azure Fundamentals (AZ 900) or Administrator (AZ 104).
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8+ years of experience in Netapp Storage Area Network (SAN) Administration.
- This position is based at a Client place in Bengaluru
- A 15 years full time education is required.
