Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating and implementing advanced technology solutions tailored to new and evolving industries and products. This role requires translating complex system requirements into detailed design specifications, ensuring that the solutions align with project goals and client needs. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver innovative and effective software applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Assist in the documentation and maintenance of software design and development processes.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when necessary.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in BlueYonder Demand Planning.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Order Management.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret and translate system requirements into technical designs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in BlueYonder Demand Planning.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
