Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. This role requires engaging with various stakeholders to understand their needs and translating those into functional software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with team members to ensure the applications are aligned with organizational goals, testing and refining software components, and continuously improving system performance and usability. Attention to detail and adaptability are key as the engineer navigates through evolving project demands and technological advancements to deliver effective and efficient software products.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software development.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications to improve functionality and user experience.
- Document software designs, processes, and updates to ensure clear communication within the team.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language).
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and best practices.
- Experience with debugging, testing, and deploying applications in various environments.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of database integration and API development.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Python (Programming Language).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
