Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (OUWAM) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, customizing, and supporting the Oracle Utilities WAM solution for utility clients. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical developers to deliver robust asset and work management solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead or support end-to-end implementation of Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (WAM) modules.
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional/technical specifications.
Configure WAM modules for asset lifecycle management, work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, and scheduling.
Develop and maintain integrations with other Oracle Utilities products (like CCB, MWM, NMS) and external enterprise systems (GIS, ERP, EAM, etc.).
Customize WAM using Java, Groovy scripts, web services, and Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) where required.
Participate in data migration, including mapping, cleansing, and validation activities.
Support system testing, UAT, training, and deployment activities.
Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in Agile or Waterfall project environments.
Professional & Technical Skills:
4+ years of experience working with Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (OUWAM).
Strong knowledge of OUAF (Oracle Utilities Application Framework).
Experience with asset management, work order management, preventive maintenance, and related utility workflows.
Hands-on experience in configuring and customizing WAM solutions.
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and understanding of Java/Groovy scripting.
Experience integrating WAM with other Oracle Utilities products or third-party systems via SOAP/REST APIs.
Strong understanding of utility industry processes (electric, water, gas) is a plus.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
