Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding the unique requirements of various projects and translating them into functional software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with different stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with organizational goals and provide effective support for business operations. Continuous refinement and adaptation of applications to evolving requirements are also key aspects of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Support junior professionals by providing guidance and assistance in their tasks and responsibilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS.
- Experience in spatial data analysis and geospatial application development.
- Strong understanding of geographic information systems and mapping technologies.
- Ability to customize and extend ESRI ArcGIS functionalities to meet project requirements.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to geospatial software.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ESRI ArcGIS.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
