Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues that arise within various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic work environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system stability and performance through effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding them through complex technical challenges.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of support activities with business priorities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to validate application functionality.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and defect lifecycle management.
- Ability to analyze logs and system outputs to diagnose issues effectively.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment processes to support automated testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in identifying software defects.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
