Quality Engineering Lead
Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards throughout the application lifecycle. The role requires overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. Throughout the day, the lead monitors testing progress, evaluates key performance indicators, and ensures effective defect management to uphold the quality of software products. Collaboration with different teams and stakeholders is a continuous activity to foster seamless quality assurance practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality engineering processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and contribute effectively to project goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow.
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering principles and software testing methodologies.
- Experience in developing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies across the application lifecycle.
- Ability to define and track key quality metrics to monitor test execution and defect resolution.
- Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of quality processes.
- Competence in managing defect lifecycle and driving resolution through collaboration with development teams.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
