Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that involve identifying and resolving issues within critical business systems. Your day will typically include collaborating with team members to troubleshoot software problems, analyzing system performance, and implementing solutions to enhance system functionality. You will also be responsible for monitoring system health and ensuring that all components operate smoothly, contributing to the overall efficiency of business operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in the documentation of processes and solutions to enhance team knowledge.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience with TypeScript, React, or similar UI frameworks. Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong knowledge of, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 / CSS3 , REST APIs & OSLC, JSON, XML.
- Git-based VCS Familiar with version control systems based on Git.
- In-depth understanding of Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC).
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management IBM ELM.
- Experience with React.js, Web Services Standards, Java.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve software issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle and methodologies.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management IBM ELM.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
