Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires a deep understanding of how various components interact within the software environment to ensure seamless integration and functionality. The engineer collaborates with different stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, continuously refining and adapting applications to support evolving organizational goals. Problem-solving and innovation are key aspects, as the engineer works to optimize application performance and usability throughout the development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any challenges to maintain project timelines.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Billing.
- Strong knowledge of application design principles and software configuration techniques.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues within enterprise environments.
- Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Familiarity with integration of SAP modules and third-party systems to support utility billing operations.
- Competence in documenting technical specifications and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Billing.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
