Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and promptly address any disruptions that may impact business continuity, contributing to a reliable and efficient technology environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to streamline issue resolution and improve system performance.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Continuously evaluate and implement process improvements to optimize support workflows.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Network Infrastructures.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, architecture, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities to analyze network performance.
- Ability to manage and support complex network environments ensuring high availability.
- Familiarity with security principles related to network infrastructure and data protection.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues efficiently.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Network Infrastructures.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
