As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role requires careful planning and coordination to ensure seamless migration of applications and data. The engineer works on delivering scalable and efficient cloud solutions that support evolving business needs, collaborating with various teams to align migration strategies with organizational goals. Continuous monitoring and adjustment of migration processes are essential to achieve optimal performance and reliability in both private and public cloud settings.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud migration strategies ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and align migration plans with business objectives.
- Mentor junior team members to support their growth and development within cloud migration projects.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure components relevant to migration projects.
- Experience in designing scalable and high-performance data architectures for cloud environments.
- Ability to analyze and optimize existing data models to fit cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with data integration and transformation processes during migration.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data migration and cloud deployment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
