Custom Software Engineer
Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Summary:
As a Test Engineer, you will implement and execute automated/manual tests, analyze and report test results, troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated/manual tests and test infrastructure. Work towards converting manual test cases into fully automated ones. Participate in defect reviews and contribute to the development of high-quality software. Work with other members of the test team to maintain and improve the hardware testing infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. You will be responsible for developing new test cases, executing existing tests, and reporting the test results.
2. You will analyze and interpret the test results, actively participate in defect analysis, and support in pre and post verification efforts.
3. You will be responsible for test bench and hardware maintenance and report if there are any issues. You will work closely with teams of other locations in order to make ensure that test environments are operational at all times.
Professional & Technical Skills:
1. Overall, 2 to 4 years of experience in the testing and validation domain, with at least 2 years of experience in the automotive domain
2. Very good knowledge in CANoe, Python, CAPL.
3. Working experience with Confluence, Jira, DOORs
4. Good knowledge of ECU and HiL hardware, Ethernet, CAN protocols.
5. You should have working experience in troubleshooting and are used to resolving arising issues with automated and manual tests and testing infrastructure
6. You should be interested in hardware and bench related testing and should be keen on debugging issues on the test bench.
7. You have a strong ability to think analytically, you have an established professional network, and you have an independent and structured way of working.
8. You possess excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
9. You communicate proactively and have excellent interpersonal skills.
Additional Information:
1. The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Embedded Product Verification & Validation.
2. This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
3. A Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Electrical Instrumentation is required.
