Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to specific requirements. This role serves as the main liaison for project stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout the development lifecycle. The position requires overseeing the progress of application builds, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and continuously refining solutions to meet evolving needs. Collaboration with various teams and managing project timelines are integral parts of the daily routine, fostering an environment of innovation and efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align project goals.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to optimize team productivity and product quality.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Experience in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks using Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to analyze complex software systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and integration of Selenium with various testing tools.
- Experience in maintaining and enhancing test automation suites to improve coverage and reliability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
