Summary:
As an ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and leading enterprise scale logging, monitoring, and analytics solutions using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). A typical day involves architecting log ingestion pipelines, optimizing search and visualization capabilities, and working closely with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure system observability, performance, and reliability. You will act as a technical leader, driving best practices and ensuring effective monitoring and troubleshooting across platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert in ELK Stack and observability solutions.
Lead and guide the team to deliver high quality logging and monitoring implementations.
Be responsible for technical and design decisions related to ELK architecture.
Engage with multiple teams including application, infrastructure, DevOps, and security.
Design and implement log ingestion, indexing, and visualization strategies.
Provide solutions to complex issues across multiple teams and applications.
Ensure scalability, performance, and availability of Elasticsearch clusters.
Monitor system health and proactively identify performance bottlenecks.
Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
Establish and enforce best practices for logging, monitoring, and alerting.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
Strong experience in designing and managing distributed Elasticsearch clusters.
Hands on experience with log shippers such as Beats (File beat, Metric beat, etc.).
Good understanding of log analytics, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms.
Experience integrating ELK with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of Linux systems, shell scripting, and automation.
Understanding of monitoring, observability, and incident management practices.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 6+ years of overall experience, with strong hands-on expertise in ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years of full time education is required.
