As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This role includes guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position requires ensuring that development practices meet established standards, while focusing on scalability and performance to align with organizational goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain a cohesive and efficient workflow is a key aspect of daily activities, fostering innovation and quality in software engineering projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Lead and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and project contributions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of software solutions with business needs.
- Monitor project progress and implement improvements to optimize delivery timelines and quality.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities and customization options.
- Experience in designing scalable and maintainable software architectures within ServiceNow.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and APIs to connect ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.
- Understanding of best practices for code quality, performance optimization, and security within ServiceNow environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in ServiceNow.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
