As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and a commitment to maintaining system reliability and performance in a dynamic business environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues effectively.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving capabilities and technical knowledge.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize support processes and system stability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Retail.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex software issues within retail business systems.
- Experience in managing and supporting enterprise-level applications with a focus on retail operations.
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate technical information to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and incident management processes to ensure timely resolution.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP for Retail.
