Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires a deep understanding of how to translate business requirements into functional software solutions, ensuring that the applications developed align with organizational goals. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to refine application features and optimize performance, while also adapting to evolving business environments and technological advancements. The engineer actively participates in the full software development lifecycle, from initial concept through deployment and ongoing support, ensuring seamless integration and functionality within the broader system landscape.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
- Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies that can benefit the team and projects.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP ABAP Cloud.
- Strong expertise in developing and optimizing custom applications within SAP environments.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Experience with performance tuning and debugging in SAP ABAP for HANA systems.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect SAP applications with other enterprise systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
