In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This includes guiding teams through the entire process from initial design to final delivery, ensuring that development standards are maintained. The role requires continuous evaluation of code quality, scalability, and performance to align with evolving business goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders to integrate technical strategies and foster innovation is a key aspect of daily activities, along with mentoring team members to achieve project milestones efficiently and effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to align project objectives.
- Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their skills and professional growth.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize software development processes and team productivity.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BW/4HANA Data Modeling & Development.
- Strong expertise in designing scalable data models and optimizing data flows within SAP BW/4HANA environments.
- Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting complex data warehousing solutions.
- Ability to lead architectural discussions and implement best practices for data integration and management.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA database concepts and advanced data transformation techniques.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated software solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP BW/4HANA Data Modeling & Development.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
