Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, diagnosing problems, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands collaboration with different teams to maintain system stability and deliver timely solutions that support business continuity and efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Document findings and resolutions to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of support processes to improve service delivery.
- Provide timely updates and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding issue status and resolution progress.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Warehouse ETL Testing.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex data integration and transformation issues.
- Experience with validating data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple sources.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Ability to design and execute comprehensive test cases and scenarios for ETL workflows.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
