Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems. The role requires continuous collaboration with various teams to enhance and optimize application components, ensuring they meet evolving business requirements. The work environment is dynamic, often involving iterative development cycles and the application of modern methodologies to deliver efficient and scalable software products that support organizational goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code and configuration management tools.
- Ability to monitor and optimize system performance and reliability.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies to support scalable deployments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
