As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. The role requires continuous collaboration with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software. The engineer actively participates in refining processes and adapting to evolving project requirements, ensuring that the solutions meet specific business objectives while maintaining high performance and reliability.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement improvements in software development processes.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google BigQuery.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based data solutions.
- Experience in writing optimized queries and managing large datasets efficiently.
- Familiarity with integrating BigQuery with other cloud services and data pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to data processing.
- Understanding of security and compliance considerations in cloud data environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Google BigQuery.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
