Custom Software Engineer
Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

1. Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with Analytics Developers and Business Stakeholders to understand their job-to-be-done.
Assist stakeholders to work through their requirements and elicit missing information (e.g. required data refresh schedules).
Produce detailed user requirements as a key feed-in to the technical design process.
Maintain open dialog with stakeholders to promote progress transparency in the design and development stages.
2. Technical Design Collaboration
Engage with SAP ECC developers to obtain technical details for requested datasets, as required.
Engage with SAP BW developers to translate business requirements into a technical design.
Engage with CDP data engineers to collectively agree technical solution design.
Required Skills & Experience:
In depth experience of business analysis and supporting technical solution delivery in a data/analytics context.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills ability to create original concepts and theories for a variety of projects.
Knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis and solution design
Experience of proactive communication to and direct interaction with staff at many levels.
Experience in handling SAP data extraction (SAP ECC )
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Ability to work with diverse groups of professionals in close cooperation.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience with Kimball Dimensional Modeling.
Functional Knowledge on FI, SD & MM modules. ** FI knowledge is Must.
Experience of working within a globally distributed team.
