Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to troubleshooting, ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The professional collaborates with different teams to monitor system performance, analyze incidents, and implement effective solutions to maintain business continuity and optimize system functionality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues promptly.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving capabilities and technical knowledge.
- Continuously evaluate system processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
- Strong knowledge of data pipeline development and maintenance.
- Experience with data integration and transformation techniques.
- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize data workflows.
- Familiarity with database management and query optimization.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
