Summary:
Seeking an experienced SAP FICA Consultant to support S/4HANA conversion programs and finance transformation initiatives. The role involves leading functional design, configuration, testing, and reconciliation activities across SAP FI-CA processes including receivables management, payment processing, dunning, collections, and integration with SAP FI and FSCM modules.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead functional activities related to SAP FI-CA configuration and process design including business partner integration, contract accounts, main/sub transactions, and clearing processes.
Configure and support posting area determination (including S000 and S010) to ensure proper GL account determination and reconciliation between FI-CA and FI-GL.
Manage reconciliation key monitoring and closure, ensuring accurate transfer of postings from FI-CA to General Ledger and supporting period-end reconciliation activities.
Configure and support incoming and outgoing payment processes including payment lots, automatic payment runs, bank integration, and clearing control.
Work with finance and treasury teams on bank interfaces, payment medium configuration, and reconciliation of bank postings.
Design and support dunning procedures and collections processes, including integration with SAP FSCM Collections Management.
Configure and support credit management processes using SAP FSCM, including credit exposure monitoring and integration with FI-CA receivables.
Support handover of overdue receivables to external collection agencies, including configuration of collection strategies and processing of recovery postings.
Participate in S/4HANA conversion readiness, functional impact assessment, and testing cycles including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
Work closely with technical teams on FICA events, enhancements, and interfaces to support business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across FI-GL, IS-U/BRIM, FSCM, and banking interfaces to ensure end-to-end finance process integration.
Support data validation, financial reconciliation, and defect resolution during conversion and go-live phases.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong experience in SAP FI-CA configuration and functional design.
Hands-on knowledge of reconciliation keys, posting area configuration, payment processing, and dunning/collections processes.
Experience integrating FI-CA with FI-GL and FSCM Credit/Collections Management.
Exposure to bank interfaces, payment runs, and payment lot processing.
Experience supporting S/4HANA system conversion or finance transformation programs.
Ability to lead functional discussions with business stakeholders and coordinate across technical teams.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Cust Financial Mgt FICA.
- Experience in S/4HANA conversion or implementation projects preferred.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
