Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with contemporary development frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient solutions that meet unique business requirements. Collaboration with team members and adapting to evolving project needs are integral parts of the daily workflow, fostering innovation and continuous improvement in software development.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- At least 5-6 years of AWS Glue and Pyspark experience
-Expertise in AWS Glue, creating custom jobs and orchestrating data pipelines.
-Experience of creating configuration files and workflow layout scripts for job execution.
- Should have ability to test the blueprint locally using AWS Glue service libraries.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to lead the team and resolve the technical queries.
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing software components to improve performance and reliability.
- Document development processes and solutions to support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Experience in AWS S3, cloud watch, launching EC2 instance.
- Experience of connecting to and retrieving data from on-premises database such as IBM DB2, PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, and SQL Server.
-Experience in reading and writing moderate to complex SQL commands/queries and accurately assessing results.
- Implement data transformations and data cleansing processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with business requirements.
- Able to process large amount for historic and delta load.
-Should have an experience using version control using Git and infrastructure deployment using terraform.Certification
-Must have AWS Certified Data Engineer Associate OR AWS Architecture
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Glue.
- Experience with cloud-based data integration and ETL processes.
- Strong understanding of data workflows and pipeline orchestration.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools related to cloud services.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data processing tasks within cloud environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in AWS Glue.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
