Summary:
As an Application Developer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications that align with business processes and meet specific application requirements. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving project needs, ensuring that solutions are tailored effectively to support operational goals. The position demands a proactive approach to application development, focusing on creating robust and scalable systems that enhance business efficiency and user experience. Collaboration with various stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions is a key aspect of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must to Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Retail.
- Should have experience in Blue printing, Fit -gap analysis, RICEF finalization
- Should have Implementation experience in 2 to 3 SAP projects
- Should have worked on RICEF functional designs
- Knowledge of Retail functionalities like Retail Master date (Article or hierarchies or Site /BP) Assortment/Purchase Costing / Promotion or Sourcing or Retail pricing or fulfillment and allocation
- Good To Have Skills: Implementation Experience in Retail Industry
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
- Exposure to green field implementation will be an added advantage.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP for Retail.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
