Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into effective software solutions. This role requires active participation in the early stages of project development, including assisting in defining detailed requirements and contributing to the design of applications that align with organizational processes. The position demands continuous engagement with cross-functional teams to ensure that the software developed meets the intended objectives and supports seamless business operations. Throughout the day, the engineer balances technical design activities with communication and coordination efforts to drive project success.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges that impact project delivery and quality.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of software design with business goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in OpenText ECM Tools.
- Experience in designing and implementing enterprise content management solutions using OpenText ECM Tools.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and application design principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize ECM workflows and integrations.
- Familiarity with document management, records management, and related compliance standards.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable software solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in OpenText ECM Tools.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
