Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position focuses on establishing development standards and ensuring that the software produced meets expectations for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals is a key aspect of daily activities, along with continuous evaluation and improvement of software processes and outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and efficiency.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and technical expertise.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any technical challenges or risks.
Provide L2 / L3 AMS support for KPOS (Kitchen Point of Sale) applications integrated with SAP Retail landscapes
Handle production incidents related to:

Sales posting failures
Order processing issues
Interface and data mismatches between KPOS and SAP

Support day-to-day operations of KPOS SAP S/4HANA / SAP IS-Retail integrations
Coordinate with SAP functional teams (FI/MM/Retail) for:

Sales reconciliation issues
Financial posting errors
Master data alignment


Monitor and troubleshoot interfaces, batch jobs, and data flows
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure timely resolution within SLA
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Retail.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns relevant to retail solutions.
- Experience in managing and leading software development teams in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to ensure code quality through rigorous review processes and adherence to coding standards.
- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and scalable software design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering business-aligned technical solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP for Retail.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
