Summary:
In the role of Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework tailored to align with organizational objectives and operational standards. This includes creating detailed architectural plans that support secure cloud adoption and overseeing the documentation process for implemented security controls. The role also requires facilitating the smooth transition of security operations to a managed cloud environment, ensuring continuous alignment with evolving business needs and performance expectations. Collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain a robust security posture is a key aspect of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and enforcement of cloud security policies and standards to safeguard organizational assets.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to integrate security measures seamlessly into cloud infrastructure and services.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Splunk Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud security architectures and frameworks.
- Experience in documenting security controls and managing their lifecycle within cloud environments.
- Ability to analyze security incidents and provide actionable insights using SIEM tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and their security features to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
- Skilled in collaborating with diverse teams to drive security initiatives and operational excellence.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Splunk Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
