Strategy & Consulting | Financial Consolidation & Reporting Consultant
Capability Network CFO & Enterprise Value (CFO&EV) team supports CFOs / Finance organizations to craft and implement strategies anchored on digital disruption, new age operating models, best in class practices to drive market differentiation and creating value. We take pride in performing End – to – End Transformations, delivering tangible results and outcomes for our client on back of path breaking thought leadership, deep CXO relationships, digital investments & assets and collaborating with our other Accenture businesses like Technology and Operations.
Management Consulting professionals design and implement process and change interventions that integrate strategy, technology and people to enable process improvements that create value for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement financial consolidation, close, and reporting solutions for global clients.
- Analyze and reengineer finance processes to improve efficiency, data quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Adapt existing methods and procedures to develop alternative solutions for moderately complex consolidation challenges.
- Align contributions with the strategic direction set by senior management and team objectives.
- Apply sound judgment in solution design and seek guidance when addressing complex issues.
- Collaborate with supervisors, peers, project leads, and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Contribute to the implementation, optimization, and enhancement of financial consolidation and reporting platforms.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in financial statement consolidation across multiple entities within a corporate structure.
- Strong knowledge of foreign currency adjustments and their impact on consolidated financials.
- Expertise in harmonizing valuation criteria and accounting standards across countries (e.g., IFRS and local GAAP).
- Ability to identify and eliminate intercompany transactions (sales, loans, dividends, etc.) at the consolidated level.
- Solid understanding of corporate reporting processes and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel and power point skills
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and manage complex consolidation scenarios.
- Preferred (as a plus): Hands-on experience with leading consolidation and performance management tools such as:
- SAP BPC
- SAP Group Reporting
- SAP SAC
- Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS)
- OneStream Financial and Close Consolidation
- Anaplan Fluence
