Business Architecture Analyst Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Avaloq scripts (PL/SQL-based) for core banking functionalities
Support parameterization to meet client-specific business requirements
Collaborate with business analysts and senior developers to translate functional specifications into technical solutions
Assist in technical analysis, design, implementation, and testing
Analyze and resolve incidents, bugs, and change requests
Contribute technical documentation and maintain clean, well-documented code
Stay up to date with Avaloq development best practices

Business Architecture Analyst Job Qualifications
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in programming or software development
Experience in Oracle databases and PL/SQL; familiarity with other relational database systems is a plus
Solid understanding of software development principles, best practices, and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Genuine interest in financial services, banking systems, or fintech, with a willingness to learn and grow in the domain
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
Proficiency in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with the Avaloq Core Banking System
Basic understanding of banking products and services
Avaloq certification is highly desirable and considered a strong advantage
