What would you do? We help insurers redefine their customer experience while accelerating their innovation agenda to drive sustainable growth by transforming to an intelligent operating model. Intelligent Insurance Operations combines our advisory, technology, and operations expertise, global scale, and robust ecosystem with our insurance transformation capabilities. It is structured to address the scope and complexity of the ever-changing insurance environment and offers a flexible operating model that can meet the unique needs of each market segment. Group Core Benefits involves managing employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. The role includes designing benefit packages, ensuring compliance with regulations, and communicating options to employees. The goal is to provide competitive and comprehensive benefits that attract and retain talent. This position requires knowledge of benefits administration and strong organizational skills. Effective management of group core benefits enhances employee satisfaction and well-being. Group disability coverage is tied to employment. If change or loss of job, the coverage is not portable. The cost of group coverage can also change from year to year. It is a sort of insurance that pays out if a policyholder is unable to work and earn an income due to a disability.
What are we looking for? •Ability to manage multiple stakeholders •Ability to perform under pressure •Collaboration and interpersonal skills •Problem-solving skills Operations management – People, Process and Client management skills • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills • Critical problem-solving abilities for identifying and resolving payment discrepancies • Trend analysis and reporting capabilities • Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data handling • Speed of execution and ability to meet tight deadlines • Continuous process improvement mindset • Teamwork, collaboration, and relationship partnering with support functions 8+ years of professional experience (including minimum 3 years of experience in Team Handling role) in Financial transaction processing, Premium Accounting/Financial Reporting/Variance Analysis/Financial Operations process, including minimum 3 Years of Team Handling experience in Premium Accounting • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting - Graduation from an accredited college or university; or a level of education that, together with experience and training, enables the applicant to demonstrate the required knowledge and experience • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). • Strong inter-personal and communication skills (written and verbal). • Ability to handle incoming/outgoing queries with internal partners and vendors. Good typing speed and strong computer literacy skills. • Ability to learn payment systems quickly and follow standard operating procedures. • Basic understanding of banking transactions (preferred). • Ability to work with numerical data accurately and efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities: •In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems • May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures • The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor • May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture • Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments • Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside • Individual would manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
