What would you do? This position will be responsible for selecting and contracting the suppliers in support of spot buy transactions to ensure fair value on the purchase and savings to the client. Procurement Operations involve the process of acquiring goods and services that a business needs to operate. This includes identifying needs, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders. The goal is to obtain quality products at the best possible prices while ensuring timely delivery. Effective procurement operations help control costs, maintain supply chain efficiency, and support overall business objectives. They are essential for the smooth functioning of any organization. A systematic approach used for buying all the goods and services needed for a particular project or for the company generally to stay sustainable. It consists of: the identification of need; finding and qualifying the suppliers; requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery and analyzing results; and contract close.
What are we looking for? • Graduation or Post-Graduation with 3-4 years of prior procurement experience • Good communication and presentation skills. • Strong understanding of latest Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Ariba
Roles and Responsibilities: • Good Procurement Process knowledge • Expertise in overall P2P practices • Knowledge and hands on experience on Applications like Ariba, SAP S4/Hana, and MS Office • Meet service levels as agreed with the client on TAT & Accuracy • Ensure quality of the process is upheld at all times • Propose process improvement ideas and lead improvement project till closure • Understanding of Operational Excellence practices and driving the behavior on the floor is required • Ensure SLAs pertaining to TAT and Quality are maintained as per agreed service levels
