What would you do? You will be part of the Technology for Operations team that acts as a trusted advisor and partner to Accenture Operations. The team provides innovative and secure technologies to help clients build an intelligent operating model, driving exceptional results. We work closely with the sales, offering and delivery teams to identify and build innovative solutions. The Tech For Operations (TFO) team provides innovative and secure technologies to help clients build an intelligent operating model, driving exceptional results. This role includes implementing software solutions, automating processes, and managing IT systems that support operational activities. Major sub deals include AHO(Application Hosting Operations), ISMT (Infrastructure Management), Intelligent Automation Develop design for cloud infrastructure design, including processes and operating models by focusing on the business and architecture requirements of the client.
What are we looking for? •Role Overview We are looking for a GKE Platform / Cloud DevOps to support and enhance our Kubernetes platform on Google Cloud. This role focuses on operating and improving GKE environments, working with Istio service mesh, and strengthening deployment standards and CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and standardized service deployments across GCP. •Cloud Automation DevOpsMicrosoft Azure DevOps •Adaptable and flexible •Problem-solving skills •Ability to establish strong client relationship •Ability to handle disputes •Python (Programming Language) Preferred Qualifications • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred) • Understanding of microservices architecture • Experience in production support environments • Relevant cloud certifications (GCP is a plus) ________________________________________ Key Focus Areas • Supporting and improving service deployment processes • Ensuring platform stability and operational excellence • Driving consistency and standardization across deployments • Enhancing developer experience through better tooling and processes Soft Skills • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Good communication and collaboration abilities • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and standards • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a cloud-native environment
Roles and Responsibilities: •In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems • Your day to day interactions are with peers within Accenture • You are likely to have some interaction with clients and/or Accenture management • You will be given minimal instruction on daily work/tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments • Decisions that are made by you impact your own work and may impact the work of others • In this role you would be an individual contributor and/or oversee a small work effort and/or team • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts •Key Responsibilities • Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters using GKE • Support implementation and management of Istio for traffic routing, security, and observability • Contribute to defining and enforcing deployment standards and best practices • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps • Assist in automating infrastructure and deployments using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform) • Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and support incident resolution • Improve logging, monitoring, and alerting capabilities • Work with development teams to onboard and deploy services on the platform • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards in GCP environments • Continuously identify opportunities to improve platform efficiency and reliability ________________________________________ Required Skills & Qualifications • Hands-on experience with GKE • Working knowledge of Istio or similar service mesh technologies • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Azure DevOps • Basic to intermediate knowledge of GCP services (IAM, networking, load balancing) • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) • Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, or similar) • Understanding of monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, or GCP tools) ________________________________________
